'Horoeka' is the serrated-edged, juvenile lancewood leaf from the native New Zealand tree; 'Antequera' is an ancient town in the plains of Southern Spain close to where Elizabeth Thomson stayed on an artist's residency in 2001. These sculptures are inspired by both home and abroad - being away and looking back at home; being at home and thinking back on time spent away.
