A public billboard project organised by City Gallery Wellington and the Goethe-Institut. The project is part of an international campaign concentrated in Europe called Artists Against Violence, in which twenty artists have produced billboard size posters to highlight racial intolerance and violence. I Am You is exhibited in the store windows of the old James Smith Building, Cuba Street, and on outdoor billboards throughout Wellington. It is linked to City Gallery Wellington's week of contemporary film and discussion: Them and Us: Expressions of Violence in Society (17-22 October 1994).
