Figures in their everyday environments have been a central component in Janet Paul’s paintings and prints for the past five decades. The artist’s family and friends inhabit the works in this exhibition: reading, daydreaming and thinking, on holiday at Coromandel or in their homes in Wellington and elsewhere.
