Landscape painting is a tradition associated with masterliness, dominated by men. This City Gallery Wellington initiated exhibition looks at a group of Wellington women painters who view landscape from a variety of different perspectives: alluding to issues of female-ness, allegory, reviewing the 19th century landscape tradition from a feminist perspective.
