Transformers: A Moving Experience

Transformers - A Moving Experience, is an exhibition which celebrates the artist-engineer, of whom the great Leonardo di Vinci was paragon.

Curator Andrew Bogle has brought together from around the world a selection of multi-media sculptures which melt, buzz, cascade, shimmer, swim and burst into flames in a cacophony of sound and movement. Included is work by the internationally acclaimed video artist Nam June Paik, whose TV Garden recently captured the imagination of many of our visitors during The World Over exhibition, and New Zealand artists Len Lye and Bill Culbert.

Exhibiting Artists: Helen Altman, James Angus, The Art Guys, Jim Campbell, Bill Culbert, Greg Evans, Lars Fredrikson, Gloria Friedmann, Juan Geuer, Mineko Grimmer, Werner Klotz, Len Lye, Paul McCarthy, Christian Marclay, Eric Orr, Nam June Paik, Garnett Puett, Ari Purhonen, Charles Ray, Peter Roche, Nike Savvas, Peter Sedgley, Simon Shepheard, Jesus Rafael Soto, Jennifer Turpin, Michaelie Crawford, Gregorio Vardanega and Darrell Viner.
