The City Gallery Wellington Foundation was established in 1998 to give private individuals and the corporate sector an opportunity to participate in the future of the City Gallery.
The Foundation's Board of Trustees seeks corporate and private funding to build a capital endowment fund to underwrite the financial risk associated with major national and international exhibitions.
Foundation members ensure the City Gallery's continued reputation and success for showing widely-acclaimed exhibitions of international standard.
Membership of City Gallery Wellington Foundation provides a unqiue opportunity for individual and corporate patrons to secure a close, prominent, rewarding and long-term relationship with one of New Zealand's highest profile arts institutions. Foundation membership is available for corporate and individual participants at four different levels of contribution. Foundation members receive a range of benefits according to their level of membership.
