Michael Smither—The Wonder Years

This show of one of New Zealand's finest realist painters is hugely appealing for all year levels. The exhibition looks at Smither’s New Plymouth years, especially from the years 1967 to 1978. During this time Michael Smither used his own autobiography, producing many key images of his family and friends, seaside and landscape, and perceptions of religious faith and politics.
