This February, Seresin are hosting Chef Nic Poelaert at their occasional restaurant, nestled amongst the native bush overlooking Waterfall Bay in the Marlborough Sounds. Nic (Brooks of Melbourne) will be cooking a five course menu that not only complements the Estate’s wines, but also an array of local ingredients. Guests will travel to and from the Waterfall Bay property by boat, sailing through the inimitable Marlborough Sounds, taking in the beautiful and peaceful views and eventually mooring in the solitude and pristine environment of the restaurant.
Forming an integral part of New Zealand’s culinary calendar since their inauguration in 1999, the Waterfall Bay lunches and dinners make use of biodynamically-produced salads, fruit, vegetables, honey and oils from the Estate, as well as – of course – the Seresin wines themselves.
The Seresin Estate is one of the largest biodynamic wine producers in the world, believing that these practices are the best way to allow the vines and their terroir to express themselves fully. Timed to coincide with the Marlborough Food and Wine Festival, this unique series of lunches and dinners is the perfect way to experience the very best of Seresin life.
