City Gallery Wellington Foundation

City Gallery Wellington Foundation patrons are a special group committed to helping make City Gallery one of New Zealand's most stimulating and accessible contemporary art experiences. Patrons believe in the power of art to enrich and inspire lives and are passionate about contributing to the vibrant cultural life of Wellington.

Make a difference
By joining the Foundation your annual donation will help City Gallery to deliver international ground-breaking exhibitions, career-enhanching opportunities for New Zealand artists and award-winning learning programmes. While the Gallery receives its principal funding from the Wellington City Council, it is thanks to the generosity of people like you that we can go the extra mile.

Be part of the Gallery
Foundation patrons form a group of like-minded art lovers and enjoy a close and rewarding connection with City Gallery through a variety of special events. These include exhibition openings and previews, meet-the-artist opportunities, talks and tours with curators, behind-the-scenes gallery experiences, and field trips engaging patrons with the wider art world.
