Join us for a face to face encounter with Quasi. He was named after Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame—a story that reminds us that looks can be deceiving. Students will be challenged to create a character who could be more than meets the eye. They’ll sculpt an expressive portrait out of clay, learning about and adapting the standard proportions of a human face. We’ll speculate about this cast of characters as a prompt for creative writing back at school.
Learning areas: Visual Art, English.
