Discover the motifs and meanings of murals in and around Te Ngākau Civic SquareExamine the patterns and symbols in Weaving Hope by Ruth Robertson Taylor and the Muslim community, along with Māori figures and motifs used by Johnson Witehira in Ngā Kākano: The Seeds. Students will learn how to use stencils and rollers to create a painting inspired by Weaving Hope, using stencils created by the artist, especially for the workshop.
