Exhibition tours enable students to reflect on the meaning or purpose of artworks and consider the context within which they were made. Using creative and critical thinking skills students are encouraged to form personal interpretations of the things they see. Students make careful observations of artworks and learn about the artists who made them, finding out about the ways they experiment with concepts, techniques, materials and processes. They take part in activities and discussions, share ideas, and pose and respond to questions about art. Tours can be tailored towards a particular area of study and can be focussed on any of our current exhibitions. Contact an educator to find out more.
