'Only photography has been able to divide human life into a series of moments, each of them has the value of a complete existence,' Eadweard Muybridge.
By looking at artwork in the exhibition Bullet Time students learnt about a variety of techniques used by artists to capture, manipulate, and depict movement in their work using film, photography, slow motion video, and video editing. They saw historic images created by Eadweard Muybridge and learnt about his role in the history of moving image photography and how the first film projections were created. In the education studio they learnt how to create image sequences, then bought them to life by spinning them in zoetropes to create the illusion of movement.
