Art and the Natural World: At Threshholds Tour and Workshop

Until 4 December

Can looking at art help us think about our connection to the natural world? Join us to discover sculptures, paintings and photographs that consider humanity’s place within a universe of lifeforms. We’ll examine artworks made with a wide range of materials, techniques, and processes, including an installation of jellyfish made from repurposed bubble wrap and harakeke; paintings made with watercolour and pressed flowers; and lei inspired by the pattern of bird song.

Students will experiment with repurposed materials to make their own adornment inspired by themes in the exhibition.
