Join us for a sculpture trail through Civic Square to the City to Sea Bridge, discovering stories of Wellington’s history along the way. Listen to the legend of Ngāke and Whataitai, and go on a te reo Māori treasure hunt to find shapes/auaha and symbols/tohu. In the education studio, arrange and rearrange a multitude of shapes to create designs inspired by Para Matchitt’s carved sculptures. A great workshop to experiment and play with the endless possibilities of picture making. Bring a camera to capture your creations.
