STEAM Tour and Workshop

23 March–14 July

Explore Semiconductor: The Technological Sublime to discover visually spectacular video works informed by scientific data and technology. Semiconductor, an artist duo from the UK, delve into unseen and unseeable worlds, making the invisible visible. Their subjects range from the earth to the sky, from the ultrabig to the ultrasmall, from celestial activity—the surface of the sun—to the trajectories of subatomic particles.

Immerse yourself in this exhibition which brings together science, technology, art, and maths. Students will share ideas about Semiconductor’s moving-image works and take part in a workshop to make the invisible visible, visualizing magnetic fields and creating their own beautiful representation using cyanotype paper and our UV lightbox.
