Join us for an ‘extra ordinary’ drawing tour of Glen Hayward: Wish You Were Here. Students will discover sculptures that are more than meet the eye – ordinary, everyday items that have been carefully carved from wood and painted exactly as if they were found objects. Under this artist’s skilful attention, a tower of paint cans or an abandoned car become objects of wonder, inviting us to look and think again. Students will practice drawing techniques as they look mindfully at the ordinary world around us to find beauty in the everyday.
