Antipodes: Creativity in France and New Zealand

22 September 2016

How creative practices can work with other disciplines to create new and exciting outcomes

Panellists: Shelagh Magadza, Artistic Director of the New Zealand Festival; Professor Chris Bennewith of Massey’s College of Creative Arts; Mark Amery, co-founder of Letting Space and one of New Zealand’s leading art commentators; and Camille Pène, Director of Futur en Seine festival at Cap Digital, the French leading cluster of digital companies.

This panel discussion is part of Antipodes: a France/New Zealand symposium involving seven French creative professionals and organisations taking place in Auckland and Wellington. It will explore aspects of creativity as a driver of, and way of coping with, increasingly rapid societal and technological changes. Presented by Colab at the Auckland University of Technology, the College of Creative Arts at Massey University (Wellington) and the French Embassy in New Zealand. Read more about the symposium here.
