Creative kids aged 5-12 years will enjoy playing with different art processes in these workshops, which are running from 11am–4pm in the January school holidays.

Come along to one, some, or all sessions. All materials supplied.

Meet in the foyer of City Gallery Wellington at 11am. Workshops are held in the Gallery's Education Studio. Bring your own water bottle, packed lunch, and a hat.

Programme

Tuesday 26th Jan:
Drawing & Painting!
Have fun with some drawing games and techniques and make your own masterpieces.

Wednesday 27th Jan:
Printing, Pattern & Stamping.
Learn about making repeat patterns and stamp art, maybe even make your own wrapping paper and stickers.

Thursday 28th Jan:
Clay day!
Learn some ceramic techniques and make a special object.
(caregivers will have to collect fired works at a later date)

Friday 29th Jan:
Collage & Cardboard Sculpture
Come along to make some awesome 2D and 3D art.

Bio

Greta Menzies is an artist based in Pōneke, Wellington. Her work spans painting, drawing, video, ceramics, and textiles, and she loves sharing art and craft processes with others in a playful and explorative mode.
