Classical on Cuba returns to City Gallery Wellington for 2023. 

The delightfully offbeat classical music crawl returns across the weekend of September 2nd & 3rd. You can find the full programme here.  

The Adam Auditorium will be alive with musical offerings across the weekend with the 2023 New Cuba Street Suite, Koolish Zein, Rob Thorne: Ko Tēnei te Timatanga o te Ao, and The Holy Presence of Joan d’Arc by Julius Eastman.

For those seeking a more all-encompassing musical experience City Gallery Wellington is excited to be hosting The Whistledowns on Sunday evening, playing the hits of Bridgerton. Please dress accordingly.  

This year’s Classical on Cuba offers a wide range of hand-picked events and performances showcasing the richness and range of modern classical music.  

There’s truly something for everybody.

Tickets are $12 per performance, or 8-or-more for $10 each. Longer events like The Whistledowns are priced separately. Shows sell out fast, so make sure to secure tickets for you and your whānau.
