Creatures and Characters Drawing Workshop

Creative Camp is a new series of fun and accessible evening workshops that focus on developing a specific technique in a relaxed and social setting.  

This month, join artist James Graves for an evening of creative art-making loosely inspired by the extravagantly sassy creatures and characters who populate Ahsin Ahsin's exhibition Turbo Croc 2.0. Develop your drawing skills as you bring your own unique characters to life. All materials are provided.

James Graves is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Te Whanganui-ā-Tara Wellington. His practice in drawing and collage has developed since finishing a BFA in video and performance. Recent exhibitions include Boys (2024), Drawn (2022) at Thistle Hall Gallery and Toi 500 (2023) at Toi Pōneke Art Centre.
