City Gallery Wellington is excited to present an illustrated talk by At Threshold’s artist Debra Bustin presenting her history of art making and exhibition.
With exhibitions described in the press as ‘opulent phantasmagoria’ and ‘unexpected and undecipherable’, Debra Bustin has led an ambitious and challenging art practice spanning several decades.
In this illustrated talk using documentation rarely or previously unseen, Debra will introduce the audience to exhibitions and artworks from her career as an artist. Expect to be drawn into the worlds of energy, colour and life that Debra has unleashed in galleries around the country and beyond.
Hosted on closing day of At Thresholds this will be your last chance to see Debra’s Untitled installation (1984) as part of the exhibition.
