These free workshops are for kids aged 3-8 years, along with a guardian/family member. Each session will focus on a different technique – come along and get creative together.
In this session, you will learn how to make cyanotypes, a simple printing process that produces cyan-blue copies of drawings known as blueprints.
Bio
Greta Menzies is an artist based in Pōneke, Wellington. Her work spans painting, drawing, video, ceramics, and textiles, and she loves sharing art and craft processes with others in a playful and explorative mode.
Claire Hopkins has a BA (Hons) Fine Art and is a trained secondary school visual arts teacher. Before joining City Gallery, she ran the school programmes at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu and worked as a travelling art educator for The Real Art Roadshow.
