Pulling at references in At Thresholds, Pōneke Wellington-based artist and musician Georgette Brown set themselves the brief of choosing tracks that had to have an animal, fungi plant, material, earth, blood, fire, water, light source, bridge, or wing in the title/lyrics or, at the very least in the imagery of the album art.
Sonically, Entangled Web takes on a more web-like structure, rather than a linear A to B trajectory. The playlist moves through several mood shifts as lyrics and melodies flutter in and out bridging worlds, communicating across the multispecies.
