Te Ingo Ngaia resides in Ngāmotu with her whānau and serves her many marae around Taranaki. She teaches Te Reo Māori and revitalises the Taranaki dialect at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. She has been involved in Tai Moana Tai Tangata from its inception at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in New Plymouth. There she wrote the Te Reo panels for the show and gave a Te Reo tour for the Taranaki community.
This speaker event offers a rare opportunity during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori for local audiences to come together to kōrero about Tai Moana Tai Tangata. Kei Ngāmotu te noninga kumu o Te Ingo, i raro i te mounga hauhunga. He kaiwhakarauora reo a Te Ingo i tōna hapori.
