Nineteen participants—five duos and three trios—make eight collaborative works. Some participants have never met before; the invitation prompts new creative relationships. Work in Progress: The Growing Chambers (2002) is a collaboration between sculptor Elizabeth Thomson, scientific glass-blower Grant Franklin, and designer Chris Chitty. In Pitcher with Women (2002), Jenny Bornholdt’s poem expressed in Catherine Griffiths’s typography is combined with three Raewyn Atkinson ceramic vessels.
