DesignWorks has sponsored City Gallery since 1999, turning out promotional posters and marketing material. In nine years, it has worked on more than eighty local-artist shows in the Michael Hirschfeld Gallery, involving more than 200 artists. This show features a selection of posters for those shows by current and past DesignWorks designers. In a vitrine, customised toasters—once used in the Gallery cafe to distribute promotional postcards—are displayed. It's the last show in the current Michael Hirschfeld Gallery, as the Gallery closes for redevelopment.
