We are excited to present this year’s City Gallery Wellington Foundation fundraising project. Box Set 2020 is a set of thirteen limited-edition prints. The funds raised from their sale will enable the Foundation to support the Gallery’s exhibition programme bringing the best contemporary art to Wellington.

City Gallery curators Robert Leonard and Aaron Lister invited the artists—who have all shown with the City Gallery in recent years—to create works specifically for the project. They are:

Box Set 2020 is a significant collection and a beautiful object—in a retro-cool vinyl-LP format. The hand-made box holds thirteen Giclee prints interleaved with acid-free tissue paper.

Box Set 2020 production details
Only fifty-five boxes have been produced. Forty are for sale, thirteen are for the artists, and two will remain in the Gallery archive. All prints are archival Giclee prints on 310gsm photorag paper, 297mm x 297mm
Each box set contains comprehensive liner notes by the curators backgrounding the artists and works. Price: $2,200 incl. GST. Payment by instalment available.
