SOLD OUT Family Week: Cyanotypes Collab!

3pm Sunday 30 January
Join local artists Andrew Beck and Séraphine Pick for an afternoon creating cyanotypes—one of the oldest and simplest photographic processes in the world.

Beck and Pick feature in our current exhibition Pages of Mercury, their show is an atemporal collaboration or exchange made with and through Rita Angus's wonderful moon drawings.

In this hands-on workshop, based in our education studio, the artists will work with the natural light to create the cyanotypes. We ask participants to bring some of their own materials—plants, patterns, shapes—to capture on the day. Expect to experiment, collaborate and cross-pollinate ideas and materials. Inspiration guaranteed, moon motifs optional.

This workshop warmly welcomes whānau. Recommended ages 8+.
