In partnership with Aitu Ball, Mother Falencie and Father Tamatoa of House Aitu will host an introductory vogue class. They will break down the five elements of vogue. They will talk about the history of ballroom culture, how it arrived in New Zealand, and how their work with Fafswag arts collective built community and pioneered the Auckland ballroom scene.

This workshop is a great opportunity for first-time participants to prepare for the Aitu Ball at City Gallery. Capacity is limited so book your ticket now.

Thanks to Taki Rua who have partnered with City Gallery to provide this workshop in their Taranaki Street premises in central Wellington.
